The Ring Doorbell's battery life typically lasts between 6 to 12 months with normal use. Use the provided screwdriver with a star-shaped end to remove the security screw. There's no battery access from the Ring device's outer shell, so you'll have to remove the front plate to remove the battery. This will depend on how often you activate motion detection and how often you use the two-way audio and video streaming features.
